Green Blogs for Slow Days

If you're like me and find yourself endlessly browsing the internet for interesting tidbits at the strangest of times, here are some blogs and other resources you can rely on for hours of online reading enjoyment:
Michael Pollan, author of localvore bible The Omnivore's Dilemma, the recent In Defense of Food, and several other books, has a long list of online articles available at his website.
No Impact Man (aka Colin Beavan) and his family spent a year living in NYC with the goal of zero waste. Now he blogs about how others can dramatically reduce their impact.
Lloyd Kahn, author of the amazing Shelter books on alternative and multicultural architecture blogs about creative and environmental building design (as well as other topics), with lots of great photos (see above).
If all else fails, the Utne Reader's environmental blog page is a good standby. Like the magazine, Utne online collects the best of the alternative press to bring a fresh and interesting perspective to progressive and green news.
