Pamela Anderson's Eco-Friendly Fashion Line: A*MUSE

Not too long ago, the Green Connoisseur told you about Julia Stiles' eco-friendly fashion spoof, and briefly mentioned Pamela Anderson and her upcoming eco-friendly fashion line. What was originally thought to be called 'MUSE' is actually called 'A*MUSE,' and unlike Julia's 'shants', it's no joke. Anderson teamed up with Richie Rich to create the clothing line, seeking to represent her views on eco-friendly fashion and animal-free clothing. Eager 'green' shoppers were awaiting New York Fashion Week to see the exciting new line, but according to new reports, the line will be debuting during New Zealand Fashion Week. This takes place starting September 25th. Being huge supporters of animal rights and PETA, Anderson and Rich decided to debut in New Zealand both because of New Zealand's green image and because they were unsure of whether the line would be ready for New York Fashion Week. Richie Rich is a New York designer famous for his flamboyant fashions, and previous part of the label, Heatherette. The two have a goal to create a sexy, chic line that shows consumers just how fashionable they can be while continuing to respect the environment. Word is that Pamela is scheduled for a catwalk during that show, so eco-connoisseurs and Pamela fans certainly don't want to miss it! Photo Credits: Images.Mirror.Co.Uk

Does anyone know the particulars of her company? Are her operations green, or just her products? Do they have USDA Organic or similar labels from other countries? I hope for the best, but this looks like a greenwash.

I only know that the material is organic cotton. Outside of that I haven't heard anything at all. I have a bit more info on my blog as well (www.eco-friendly-promos.com) if it's any help, Robb.
