Feather Down Farmstays

Looking for a different type of luxury on your next vacation? Feather Down Farms, a chain of rural retreats in the United States and Europe, might be just the thing.

Feather Down Farm locations  are  geographically and environmentally diverse, but they share certain convenient and ecological amenities. In any region, you will be able to tour and experience a working farm (including friendly animals), and at night you will "camp" in a charming, moderately rustic luxury tent. Accommodations feature wooden floors, beds with duvets, wood stoves and cooking equipment, toilets and running water. You will also have the opportunity to purchase fresh ingredients from local farmers on site.

In addition, different locations offer different activities, which may include bicycle rental, horseback riding, or participation in farm activities. Prices start at around $250-300 per night for the shelter, which accommodates up to five adults or a family of six with children, with a minimum stay of three nights.
