The My Natural Dr. Seuss Collection Brings Organic Playtime to Suessville

Eco-friendly plush toys and nontoxic infant accessories are the perfect way to share the literary gems and legends of Dr.  Seuss.  Dr. Seuss Enterprises has partnered with Hosung NY, Inc to bring Seuss fans and eco-conscious parents an all natural, chemical-free collection of affordable and adorable Seuss-inspired toys.

The My Natural product line is an extension of the Lorax Project, the Seuss eco-initiative that promotes environmental awareness and helps to support earth-friendly living.  Scheduled for launch in the Spring of 2010, the toy collection will include plush Seuss characters for children as well as nontoxic rattles and natural cotton teething blankies for infants.  The toys are designed to provide an earth-safe alternative to all consumers and to make eco-friendly play things more affordable and accessible.  

Go Green with the Lorax

The Lorax Project began on Earth Day 2008 and is an initiative between Conservation International, Random House Publishing, and Dr. Seuss Enterprises.  The project spreads the concern of the Lorax and encourages individuals of all ages, but especially children, to care for the plants and animals of their world.  

The Lorax Project website features an assortment of resources for parents, educators, and children, including games and activities, as well as interactive opportunities to help.  Seussville offers an excellent Earth Day lesson plan based on the Lorax - great for classrooms, schools, and homeschool settings.
