Fresh Eco-Fashions From prAna

I've always loved prAna's gorgeous active-wear and yoga accessories, so I was really excited to notice how many green materials are featured in their spring 2009 collection. As you might expect, there are lots of organic cottons, but there are also many items made from recycled poly, a sustainable synthetic fiber. There are lots of styles to choose from, but a few of my favorites are the Becca tank (poly blend), the Luna maternity top (poly blend), and the Ombre tank (cotton). Of course, there are simple pants and shorts available to match these tops, and prAna also has men's and children's collections. Besides using sustainable materials, prAna is committed to creating a sustainable culture. The company purchases carbon offsets and supports the use of alternative power by employees and retailers. They also carry a unique natural rubber yoga mat, for green yogis who'd like to do a little bit more.
